International Women's Day
Development of a trilingual landing page with a gallery, aftermovie, and podcast for the 2025 “Day of Women” at the Federal Palace, inspired by print design and optimized for future editions.

International Women's Day is celebrated every year on March 8 to honor women's social, economic, cultural, and political achievements while raising awareness of ongoing challenges in gender equality. In 2025, the "Day of Women" took place on March 7 at the Federal Palace, hosted by Maja Riniker. The event was organized by ComCœur in collaboration with Les Tailleurs. What was still missing was a multilingual digital platform that would make the event sustainably accessible.

Our Mission: To develop a trilingual landing page (German, French, Italian) that consolidates all essential content – a photo gallery, an aftermovie, and a podcast focused on the central theme "Women. Security. Future." Our work began with the structural planning of the website using wireframes, which served as the foundation for content creation. This provided clients with a clear framework for drafting their texts.

Visually, we drew inspiration from the print design created by Petra Balmer: her illustrations in various shades of violet guided the development of the site's digital color scheme. This visual harmony was seamlessly integrated into the web design, creating a strong connection between print and online communication.

The final result is a dynamic, user-friendly landing page that not only highlights the key moments of the event but also serves as a central platform for future editions of the "Day of Women."
